The Traverse Life Center was established to serve the Grand Traverse Community by providing expertise and resources to help individuals and families struggling in the areas of poverty, addiction, family dysfunction, and inadequate housing. God created us to live life to the fullest and the Traverse Life Center exists to help people reach their full God-given potential and to make a positive difference in the lives of their families, cities and the world.
Helping individuals walk in freedom from addiction through prayer, discipleship and coaching.
Destroying the impact of poverty in the lives of people through financial counseling, mentoring, instruction in life skills, employment skills, personal growth plans and direct financial assistance when needed.
Enhancing family relationships through discipleship, counsel, marriage mentoring and parental support and expertise.
Providing temporary and affordable housing in a safe and nurturing Christ-centered environment. While staying at the Life Center, residents will receive valuable training and encouragement in order to set and achieve their God-given dreams.
